Wow got back after a fun filled salsa at the prax-casino.
met a couple of very pretty gals who are from Uzbekistan, they are so good at dancing and following, but seemed to be a bit not confident about their own abilities. Glad that I got dancing with them.
met a guy from hyderabad. raj. seems to be good too, like chak.
Then got on to the call with Vvk from bangalore about our concerns.

Feb 10 2011 Thu, Day of conf calls and followup calls

Woke up early to sync up with vvk in bglr, he was not online. so tried calling up mans and left msg.
10 call with orcl con on dem. lasted 1.5 hrs was very helpful talking with vp.
kind of puts a damper on the con on dem projects possiblity.
got call from ali for the job opening in regina Saskatchewan. got to see how if i will get another follow up call for that on tech interview.
then got back on to the call for the class, in between called up rob to coordinate the kt session.
was only able to talk to him freely around 3:30. then sent out a mail around 4:15 to everyone.
class got over around 7... phew,, 4 days of house arrest.
got to go out tonite and dance it off. and eat biriyani.

have been having only about 5 hrs of sleep this week/ day. about 19hrs on computer, with the meetings and then the class from 11am to 8pm which goes on into 9pm.... hardly able to eat or step out of the house.
Looking forward to the weekend catching up on sleep.

Feb 08 , frustratiing issues with IE

woke up early again issues with the internet connection and using IE and firefox on the vistas of home and work m/cs.
skype seems to work fine on the 3rd comp.
frustrating to be trying to do the lab sessions.

Training at 11am (8am PST).
but had to get up at 6 and sync up with guys in the project regarding what was happening.
after some hectic heart breaking moments of computer crashing and not internet connection getting disrupted. it was a stressful first day of training.
After the class got over at 7 pm called up venk in Cali and he helped me way walking thru it.
Its so nice to have a very few friends, hand full I can count on. I am surprised with people adding to facebook every one they just say hi to and must have talked briefly for a few mins.
Glad I am able to keep my number there in the 200s and frequently deleting people I have not much contact with or may.

woke up late after watching ufc.
heated up the salmon curry, cooked ginger tea.
then came the wireless, resetting and then all hell broke loose. so called up nar and got the wireless reset.
Considering going to his house to watch the Superbowl around 6pm.
still having problem with the printer. may need to uninstall

Woke up late after watching internet TV and sports.
Rearranged the setting to accommodate the 4+1 laptops I have for mondays online classes. hehehe looks like a Lap top shop.
Called up home talked for a few and got to know Unkles family is there for the weekend and so is saila aunt. Gald to know that she is doing better after her chemo. It was a sick feeling to know that doctors giving up after she was not able to handle the chemo.
Atleast got to make her laugh a bit. :)
then called up mohana unkle and kanka aunt talked to cousin Adhi about her new phase of life in college as a civil engineering student. She seems to have a great hostel life. Biriyani 2times a week. Advantages of studying in a islamic management college.
I wish I could have had those privilages. hmmmm biriyani cooked twice a week and lots of meat on other days.
So far from the all veggie (udupi) food I got and lived thru the days of college.
Its drizzling outside, hopefully melts all the snow. took the trash out and did a bit more of house keeping.
Got to go thru the pre-requisites for Mondays class and familiarize my self with the software.
