jul 9th off for Training in NJ. No salsa for tonite.
So what, need to start focusing on self development.

woke up 4am and need to get out of the house by 5:30 to 6am , There is a 2 hr drive, over 100 miles, have to drive past the locations of jersey city and NY down town parallel on I-95.

Started off @6am.
Sometimes reaching speads of over 80 miles per hr reached destination around 7:45am. That was good driving, traffic could have been worse.

The rent @ marriot was like $260 per night, with company discount it was like 169. Decided to check what the other guys in the camp will be doing.

Turns out that a few booked into the Marriot, others live around the area, few married with kids decided to commute 2hrs each way for the 3 days. I decided to join Srikanth at the Days Inn about 2 miles away.

Breakfast, lunch and snacks were served.

Training was a better understanding of myself as a Integrator manager. Need to get into more of Director/Administrator mode.

There were 3 guys who were with the company for more than 10 years.

The group of about 25 was 21 poople of Indian origin and 4 cacausions.

Evening booked the room from outside the hotel, hijacking the wi-fi, used Hotels.com and got the room for $81 per night. At the desk it was around $100. (Lessons learned from Hiking trip last year).

Then called up Eric the instructor as he proposed meeting up for dinner. They aready left for the river side mall for a restaurant called Monsanto steak house. So asked Srikanth if he was interested. He said yes and so drove over to that place.
Pricey, just having a piece of Steak was like $50 plus $10 tip.

But it was nice to network and getting to know the personal life styles of the two ladies from Mass. One has a dog and carries a gun. The other the unmarried and cuter one was into recruiting for the company, used to drive bikes (motor-750CC).

Back to the motel, my stomach was in revolution mode. should have had lime or wine with the steak.

Watched a bit of TV and and passed out.
