Catching up on stuff. got some things re-done caused by goof ups and bad timing of things happening.
Atleast I did not end up loosing much, got the refund from auto insurance, now to wait till tomorrow for the rental home insurance.
And the best part is that I am not upset, that these things that I paid for for reset back from the TX version to the previous version based out of PA. And money got refunded back. Atleast I got to notice it before it is too late.
Been going to the temple and mediating the past few days. yet to reach a level of depth in concentration.
Life is so full of surprises and things to do. :)
More important than anything is now my need for a job thats stable (or relatively) so that I am not constantly thinking of where my next one would be and not been able to make plans like most of the people who get to live their lives a bit more stably and make long term plans.

Happy Birth day to Mr Jesus , cheers.
Now is that his Birth day or, is it on Jan 06 th by the Armenians and Jan 07th by the orthodox Christians celebrate it?

Well all the shops and places of business are going to be closed today. Except that I got to know that the HUGE Indian Grocery store called Subzi Mandi with its own few shops inside like a kind of wal mart will be open and will have $2.99 Biriyani. yummmm
gloomy cloudy weather but in the 50s. so feel much better off than living up north. Was looking at the map and realized that Texas is on the latitude thats approximately close to the North most part of India, so its still far off from the Equator, hence the cold vibs.
So far from my own beautiful native land thats close to the equator and filled with warmth.

Got back home by 10 and what a refreshing feeling to get into ones own hot shower.
Got back from the twn pks around 1am , where the very pretty little gals (who looked under aged) were just wearing the basic min. And were trying to flash the twp pks and hoping to get more tip,, but the service sucked, the waiterss who served us, thou she looked good, behaved like she did not care much about providing customer service. She came around saying that its the last call for the kitchen and if we needed anything, when anl said, just give me a min, she was, oh no not possible. So instead of ordering more food and drinks, we just said, ok fine then we rather have the check....
And that means they lost two potentially good customers and the others they would have possibly told.
Its sad how the requesting for even one min to go thru the menu to place the order was not granted and how it could mean a loss to the business, not to mention the possible profit from the good publicity they would have got had she been a bit inclined to accommodate the one min.
Well thats another good example of Customer Service Attitude and the training that could have helped.

from lolits after a lousy night of salsa, drove to anls house.
woke up in the morning and we had rotis with scrambled egg and avcado.
in the afternoon went to the Bengali place with the Indo - Pak lable and had goat biriyani for 4.99.. really cheap, thou not the feel of the real biryani, it was ok.\
now to go for the basket ball game and twn peeks to check out some of natures finest creations.

Started the day with getting things done, one by one.
Got most of it done and then went to temple around 11.
talked to anl and nar.
planning on hitting loli for some salsa and hope to see the people I got to dance with last week.
Around 3 a couple of people from the maintence came and fixed the storage door and then the leaking sealing at the back door. First time I am having 3 doors in a single bed room apt. and 2 balconies. :)

Hard getting out of bed in the morning...
Got working on scanning and uploading them. Had a tough time with the uploads as only one page was getting shown. Atleast I do not have to fax them.
have to wait for the Am ex records to update in the expense sheet and submit it all... my own expense came to around 2600 that is not including the moving of household stuff and car.
Its like I am having a paid vacation into the south of US. Just that its a bit cold outside, but its gorgeous when the skies are not cloudy.
Spend the evening watching the planes take of in 2's and 3's, like a massive coordinated orchestra in the sky. with about 7 run ways this must easily be the biggest airport.
Want to go out running,, again motivation is the culprit.
Sent out resume, got to see if anything will work out. if it does, its again back to the north east.
like it here in this area, things are cheaper and people are much more nicer and sweeter.

Dec 20 2011, 1st night spend in my own bed

Woke up relaxed to a great extend, courtesy to my comfy bed.
had earlier passed out on the couch.
now to get things done. it was great fixing a few things, gave me a bit more of optimism.
Then started calling up people for putting my resume up for the global database of the company.
raj and bos did not pick up the phone (as expected) so left a msg.
Wish the timing was better, if I am to be out of the company, thats ok too. But want to stay on and build up a career. lets see as the stars forecast, Dec 22 a day to keep my eyes open for. Liked this company as they took care of all the moving aspects so far and were very professional and organized.
much better than been at the mercy of some persons mood swings and attitude.
well now to go cracking on the DMV for my license.
