My Take : When you have an opportunity to Express ( Facebook, art, speech, poetry, blogging, writing, singing, dancing,,,,) you have an Opportunity To Change someones LIFE.

Wishing all Malus (Malayalam speaking people) A HAPPY ONAM 2013.
Cheers and Enjoy the Celebrations of OUR Great Dravidian Heritage honoring our ancient King.
The only one Festive celebration of Dravidian Heritage where no matter what religion we choose to practice Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist,,, just been the Malayalam speaking DRAVIDIANs, connects us thru this common heritage of ours.
Cheers to the next days of Celebrations leading to Thiru-Onam.
Peace and Prosperity to ALL.
Went for the toastmaster inter club contest in neighboring area, it was great seeing and hearing some great speeches by pros of 10 and 20 years, our area has it next week, volunteered for the role of timer.
After that it was a laid back day, which started with the idlies and chutney, work on the a bit of grocerry shopping. gas for the car on the way back.
Had the Hyderabadi Chicken biriyani that I had brought as take out yesterday... yummmm...
was not able to sleep for the days following the speech... kind of wondering whats happening.
I am still high on the adrenaline that I got pumped up on after the speech. Too excited to go to sleep at night.
Have to find a balance tonite. So should I go out to the new salsa place close by or sit out at home and watch the NFL games!!??
What about the running, did not get any done since sep8.???!!!

.....Be Good, Do Good
What drives people in lower economic countries to give up on the basic needs, requirements of a human being to live with family and friends to RE-LOCATE to cold foreign counties for work.
The HOPE of providing better living conditions and future security for their family and the BIGGER Hope of been able to be part of that better conditions and happiness.
HOPE.
Thinking about it a bit more, there is also this factor, which goes on the lines of "Make Hay when the sun shines".
With all kinds of uncertainties thrown in, its just live how and make the hay as soon as possible before the sun goes down.
Something that other fellow living creatures also do. Bees, ants, Bears ,
Now looking for material to be able to talk for 5 to 7 mins at the club level “Humorous Speech Contest”.
I just want to get in there so that I have one more item ticked off my “bucket list”.
Self analyzing, it no longer seems to be the fear of been on stage, it’s the fear of not been able to deliver the message, because of not having put in enough effort to prepare for the message.
Another bucket list item that seems to be nagging me. To go for US football game , more so a NFL game, the icing on the cake would be to go for a Super Bowl game with someone wonderful, and loving and who loves me.
Someone who is just happy been with me and doing stuff together.

How do we know that its the Syrian govt that did the chemical attack? Given the fact that the middle east govts know the whole world is watching them.
And two countries were smacked (Iraq and Afghan) on lesser grounds.
Does not look like they would try to attempt that. More like a possibility of other vested interests..... my money is on the British Govts. under the radar techniques.... No wonder they were in a HURRY to initiate counter attack process. Much too fast for a slow acting and reacting mentality [UK govt]. Its like they already knew it was coming and were already in place with bills in their parliament..... Hopefully the US govt and people do not get dragged into the chaos and fighting.
Let us not forget the country (UK) and people who have a legacy of over 600 years in creating rifts between groups and countries all over the world.. sowing seeds of hatred at every possible opportunity and profiting from the fighting... examples of their legacy,,, India/Pakistan, Iraq/Kuwait, Israel/ Palestine .....
Hope the world wakes up to their crooked political strategies and become more peaceful....

was watching the movie on youtube "How to fall in love"

Kind of reminded me of my own life. 75 to 90 % of it.
How the gal he was dating seems to be more interested in pushing her own agenda of things to do on a date and how she was bored with or disliked what ever he liked.
Even thou, I liked to learn new things and open to try out many a new hobbies and interests and adapt, what I got out was utter contempt and sarcasm for even some of my basic likes.
There in was a clear indicator of two personalties not made of each other... and guess who ends up becoming the one who is unhappy and also gets finger pointed and blamed....hehehe... well character of people stands out and is always revealing in little things that they do right at the start, just that we usually get blinded or think that some compromises can be made... yes can be made if both think like wise and make an effort to be open to try out and likes of the other.
there comes again the attractions between the Controlling party and the walk-over.

Please watch the whole documentary and make your own decision. I know many people stand up for issues and do a lot of what I call lip service on FB,,,, but how many would really try to take a stand by giving up on a source of pleasure,,, I strongly believe that its not a necessity for our survival…. Its just a source of pleasure. And our pleasure creates demand and impact lives across the globe. What we choose to act on and what we choose to ignore defines us to ourselves.
This is one issue that has touched me, and made me realize that I have the power to choose. not to contribute to the demand and give up on a pleasure I was addicted to since childhood. Chocolate.

The same measuring stick could be used to define the fact, that many a innocent lives are forced into the Flesh market, just to meet up with the demand created by the Animal instincts of men.
If and only if all men would and could control their animal instincts and focus on behaving in a more civilized way,
If only they choose to choose the path of self-control rather than canibalist freedom. :'(
