Start of probably my last week of stay in dallas.
People here seem to be more friendlier than Van and Philly.
Called up home and talked for a relatively long time with mom. seems like they are having a cold.
For the average person leading and Ordinary life, FAME holds an Hypnotic Attraction.....
hahaha.. so true and so applicable to a few people, attention hungry people I got to know. Always wanting to be the center of attention and thinking that everyone's life has to revolve around their selfish wishes..... pieces of craps. ;)
Was getting out of the house when Elis calls up, she just finished a salsa class and we decided to go out to the cheap buy good food indian food.
Then when we reached the salsa place with live music, turns out they start only around 11 so we had 3 hrs to kills , ended up going to watch a movie. My first movie in about 2 years.
Come back to the place pay $20 entry fee and great live music, but too small a floor and not enough lighting... so after one dance we decide to check out the cel in la coli... but they seem to have club music there.. so then we drive to addi to check azu... crowded like hell but lots of good dancers and latin people partying.
during the drive to and from we get to see about 3 road accidents.....
Drop her off at the 1st place we went for her to pick up her car and head back home.
She is really a very smart lady with a masters in math and then now going for her medical degree. wow! thats some determined drive she has to stay focused and concentrate on achieving her lifes goals.
Lesson for me to learn from and try to focus on my own growth and life.

woke up a bit late after last night late night.
Got to see the meeting invite from An. on the new philly job.. just a bit worried about the close proximity and relocation lead time. one week is too stressful to get things done.
went to temple by 12:20 and was out in about 10 mins. then got a son papdi. sweet as hell ;) hehehe well need my sugar shot.
okkayy now to get down to some cooking or rather heating of my food and hydrate myself for the nights salsa.
Got a surprise call from Elis, she wanted to go out to eat before going out dancing. So ended up meeting at the mall and then went over to the indian restaurant across.
It was a nice and revealing conversation. was surprised to hear about her life , so different from what I imagined. Smart gal, about to graduate as a Doctor in couple of months.
Then head off to the holi in for lots of dancing. cheers
mart did not turn up. guessing that she is just staying away as I did not (was notable to) go to places she wanted to go.

hmmm its 12 - 01 - 2012 hehehe 12012012 posted on fb lets see how many like it.
good to see the hits on my spin kicking video. it even surprised me to watch myself do the kick. nice. No wonder so many people earlier were impressed by my kicks, thought that they were just making fun of it or were trying to pump me and my ego and then make be do something foolish.
Ok woke up with a cheerful mood, is that the effect of eating healthy yesterday night or the past few days of good 8 hrs plus sleep or the impact of me starting work out or all the above. :) cheers what ever I am feeling pumped and energized today.
Went to good ys and got a vodka.. good god thats like the biggest liquor shop I ever was in.
Around evening Anl comes in and the party starts with a blast... down the drain went vodka with orange juice. and curried spicey lamb pieces with it to munch on with cashew nuts and peanuts. hehehe we both had smirnoff after about 11 years. last time when I was leaving mumbai to sfo.
hehehe it was fun, letting go and behaving like teens in college hostel, talking all kinds of crap, subjects about women, behavior of people, ,,,, and dancing to some crazy hindi songs and malu songs
around 10 his bro calls up and so we head out. show him the direction to airport and then drive off to loli tas ....
what are the odds of meeting the first gal I ask to dance to be an pretty indian. initially thought that she must be latin origin and wanted to avoid her thinking that she may start giving me that I am too good for you.
it was nice dancing with ne ha for a sometime and then getting to know that she is into kickboxing.
another rare thing.
The other punjabi gal from kentuky also turned up...
It was nice connecting with Elizabeth and hope to see her todayat the hol inn. Felt natural asking her for her number. So here I go on the loose. Liked the way she smiled and laughed and danced.
messaged marti hoping that she could make it. but turned out she was busy working. but never the less a great time at the loli.

Woke up around 7:30 and was able to get on to check for mails from work. but none.
Had a very good heart to heart chat with An on FB. Was funny to hear about the guys from college still trying to hit on her, and trying to get her attention. Well most men in north of India are still in the feudalistic mentality of the 16th century and opinion about how women should be.
She is one brave lady who has the capability to make a huge change in many ways in India. Love the way she scares and intimidates a few of the dumb guys who think that just because they are born men, they can push women around. Real bullies.
Well everyone tends towards been a bully some time or other. But its people who bravely stands up against them that make the difference.
Cooked the lamb curry started around 3:30pm and finished about 7pm. 2 and half hrs. phew
the chilled out with a couple of mexican beers and the lamb pieces to go with it.

Jan 09 2012, new week feels like a long 2012

Feels like I have been in 2012 for quite a long time. but its just been a week. So many things have happened and seems to keep happening.
Well if things go as per the plan, will be back in philly in two weeks. hmm thats about a month and half of vacation Dallas Texas.
Will miss the dollar 3 biriyanis
took a video of me doing some spin kicks and uploaded on you tube. Was able to take out a freeze of the kick. I am impressed by the way I look in there. nice boost to my confidence and EGO.
Was heart warming to see the comment from sammy.... she never cease to amaze me with her bright eyes and high energy smile. She could easily qualify for some Hollywood movie star status, if only she could do those expression in front of a camera or if someone notices her. Still remember the hot salsa, merengue and bachata we got to do in Hyderabad. She felt like a star there, with so many people coming up to her after the dance and asking her tonns of questions. Must have been something to get a fan following like that. and no one seems to be even remotely interested in me. Been very low in the food chain of good looks.
hahaha was reminded how people also came up to eva and complimented her after our dances.
hmmmmmmm I am good at making others look good. But the people watching think that the more curvy species are more a person they would rather compliment and talk too.
Well suits me, as I am not so comfortable with been the center of attention from public. To shy for these kind of things, or is it my conservative upbringing that made me and encouraged me to be rather modest in behavior than loud and attention seeking.

Woke up all lazy and dragging my self to coffee and break fast.
watched the hindi movie R bal verses the ladies... was checking Fb when got to see nattty mail. she is so sweet and heart warming. The sweetest heart warming smile ever, and her BEAUTIFUL eyes so filled with innocence and sincerity.
hmmm how our paths seem to cross at odd times. I move out of van and she moves in there.
Sometimes I wonder how it would be if we both click ? I did feel a bit of connection with her dancing the merengue and she introduced me to her dad.
Would love to see how it would be if we both got dancing the tango together,,,, she ofcourse is the expert and I have absolutely low beginner about one class. will she be willing to put up with me and will there be magic when we dance?????
now to reply to her mail...
Latter on went to sub m, and got biriyani... drove over to costco, sat in the parking and could not stop myself from eating the biriyani.....
brought a shiatsu massage equipment there and organic milk.
returned home in the evening and passed out.
latter woke up and got to see streaming nfl of the bronco win over pit.
