Day 2 of Apartment hunting.
Accidentally at a Paki restaurant when trying to figure out which way to go and was introduced to the $2.99 chicken biriyani, better than the Philly one but not as great in quantity and quality as the Al wanta of Vancouver.
one apartment kind of stood out. so might go for it in Euless unless there is one close to Mckinney for 550 or less. all of them seems to be for 600 plus.
ohh all the confusion with no idea of the project and future.

Day 1, cold and got lost a few times coming back from Anls house. but made it back with a hang over
around noon went to wal mart did some food shopping, then went to subway for a sub
around 4 got out to check out the apts.. one close to the hotel. brand new, the rates are almost half of what was in phily. same kind I was paying about 1.3 here it was 790, one with a giant garage was like 1100.
the sales gals were trying all kinds of tricks so that I would not walk out.

woke up around 2 then tossed and rolled got out by 3am and was ready to leave by 4. had break fast at the hotel and then dropped off the car and had a tough time adjusting to the couple of luggages that I was carrying.
the flight was good, tried to catch up on sleep. reached Atlanta 30 min earlier than expected and then after sometime got on to the next flight to Dalas.
reached dallas, again problem with the adjusting to the 2 luggages had to take a cart for $5.. damm then the crowd at the airport for the bus to the car rental,,, got on to the 4th bus after waiting it out. get ti the enterprise rental at DFW..... one of the most unfriendly Enterprise Rental I ever came across.
People with very bad attitude. and the gal who was showing me the car or taking me to the car,,,,,ahhh what a lousy Bith.... she was more interested in flirting with one of the guys she is working with than helping me.... it was so far removed from any customer friendly attitude I had experience in about 11 years of renting cars in US. the worst by any enterprise car rental.
She made me walk with the 2 large suitcase and the carry on and the laptop... was struggling rolling the suitcases and there was no cart to help me make it easier too.
Would not ever take the Enterprise at DFW airport again. as the one thing that usually stands out in all the enterprise car rental was the customer friendly attitude, but in DFW, it was at its lowest.

Dec 03 2011, trip to nj border

woke up late, had b-fast at the hotel dinning.
then was watching TV and got a call from nar coming to pick up his moms medicines sent thru a friend of rajesh.
So have a shower and set out by 12: or 12:20 reach the morrisville location around 1,, then get a address to get to from him. google gps takes me to the sherton as in entered tony instead of stony. then we figure it out and the second address takes me to a residential area. they have it entered wrongly in google. Then after a few trial and errors, just on a hunch, drive towards a set of buildings I see on the satelite map.... and boy oh boy,, my instincts were so perfect... that the place I stopped and parked the car to make the call to nar turned out to be exactly in front of the door of the address we were supposed to meet.... hmmmm I got to trust my instincts more and more.... more signals from the universe about my basic powers of mind.
get back to the hotel after lunch. fill up the gas and wait for the flight.. time now about10:30pm.. 4 more hrs and got get packing to the airport. drop off the white avenger and check in... Dallas here I come.

Have two more sleeps before heading off to Dls on sunday morning...... Again back to the Gypsy life of moving every 4 months. well atleast I am traveling around and in Dls will be having couple of very good, loyal, sincere, trust worthy friends. Thou they are all married.
But what the hell beats been in htfld and lnsdl area with just the geese, goose and gander.
Ok got to be thankful and greatful to all the travel opportunities I keep getting, most people can only dream of this or fantazie about this.
hahaha right now again living in a hotel... by the airport, listening to the flight taking off into distant lands carrying passengers to exotic lands and dream vacations, honeymoon, disney world..... just thinking about the happines of these people is making me smile from ear to ear. yeaaa cheers to happiness and spreading goodness around.
Getting bored sitting in the hotel room. Not interested in watching TV, guess living without one for so long has weened me away from TV addiction.

Moving out of the house into a hotel after 4 months.
handing over the keys by 9am, shutting down my bank account and wait for 3 more days to fly out.
handed the keys by 9:30 went to dunkin donuts and had coffee. got the card punched for 8th time so the next one is free.
Called up aji to see if we could meet and talk, seems to be busy said would meet me in dallas.
Then went to costco, sat in the parking and mediated.
Then went in and saw a good shirt brought it and then had a chicken wrap kind of thing.
Was driving back to the Dunkin doughnuts when I got a call from sant, damm right bearer of the bad news.... evil to the core. Called to say that there was a mail from nimsh about the client getting back to him about the project been put off.
hmmmmm what a good timing.. I am out of the apartment moving to a hotel and suddenly no project in dals.... ahhhhh that would leave me in the middle of no where.
tried calling raj ,, who returned the call around 9pm. said would talk to nimsh.. got back from salsa at par and saw the mail from nimsh asking me to look for another proj and get in contact with the movers to have my stuff moved to where ever I am going to be based.
replied back saying that since my stuff has already moved and I am in transit, might as well continue as planned.

Got to book a hotel close to the airport.
tried driving around in the Avenger,,, great pick up, feels much smoother than my own car, guess its 15 years of technology.
9pm meeting again gets put off as nim was not able to come on it .
got call from sri regarding his start off dates and other lil things. hes got a 5 year old son too.
Guess these guys will be in for a rude shock after meeting me and my single life of jumping around and not been in any committed relationship.

Nov 29 2011 Tues, Empty house

Got back home late from van go , tried to pack a few stuff.
woke up early around 5am and started with the packing and organizing.
around 8:30am the movers come in and man it coincides with the conf call meeting .
for some reason the conf got put off as Nim was not able to come. latter when checking the net, saw the bankruptcy filing by the co I am about to go to in dal.
good god this is a kind of blind siding.
well my stuff is moving and so am I. things have been set into motion.
Give the remaining 7 bottles of carona beer and the packet of lays chips to the moving guys.
around 11 get call from the guy coming to get my car... so booked rental at the airport so that I could drop it off there.
around 12:25 the guy with the tow truck comes from Delaware and the compiles a list of dents and scratches on my car and gives me the document.
Around 1 try to call up the guys to see if anyone could drop me off at the airport or to the closest rail station. none seem to pick up the call. damm fkrs.
then ajy returned the call after I walked 3 miles to the rail station ,, damm rain.
told him that I am already in the station and if I am not able to make it will call him back for help.
got to the airport by 4:50 and got the car... driving back was one hell of a screw up in the sever rain and road conditions at the peak office hours and with sun setting around 4:30 every thing was eerily dark.

Back from NJ after a brief attempt at painting nar's house.
and as usualy great food that brought out the usual greediness in me and I went shamelessly gobble, gobble.
got back to base around 5pm... sun set.
