reached work around 9:30am after calling up home and getting to know the car number....
Then from work called up the call center for pw reset.
Ended up getting one guy who was speaking so fast, could not understand what he was saying.
And the fool tells me that he will only be able to proceed further if I am holding the card in my hand.
Even thou I tell him I have the number and the details, the card is in India and I am in US....ahhh so much for common sense.
End up getting angry at his foolishness and then tell him, okay I have the card in my hand.
Then he transfers the call to a lady who helps re-set the password. And then transfers the call to another person to reset the net password.

Jan 04, first day at work 2011

woke up on the couch, passed out watching stanfrd play Vteh .
got on to the call for performance apprisal.
Then around 9:15 called up hdf to know more about reset. have to call up home to know more details.
got to work around 9:45am
saw ajy who just returned after getting married in india.
seems to have had a whole lot of problems with FIL having a collapse and seriously hospitalized and then his MIL ending up having a accident and her hip getting injured.... then his own set of issues with his stomach and fever.
Got back for a late lunch and then in the evening cooked salmon curry in coconut milk.

Holiday and after having gone to bed late watching comedy mal movies. was not really up for waking up early.
Ended up missing to make the call to hdf and missed the 8pm - 930am est time.
well even the coffee I was making the traditional way see to have its own life and spilled over on to the stove..... :) well atleast its bright and sunny outside. yeaaa.. to a great day.
Lets see if I can do more of the mgmt online courses and fine tune my mind. My achievement for the past 11 days has been just 10 %... was hoping to be able to finish most of the online courses about 50 to 60hrs.
But was able to finish only 1 of 2 hrs... now wait thats more like 4 to 5 percent.... ahhhhh I am so going to atleast reach the 10percent today.

Was still thinking about the mugging and near death experience at the hands of the mugger by Venkat when he went to buy at the liquor shop in California. And the poor shop keeper getting beaten up.
Life is so fragile. one moment you are carefree and happily moving around and the next. It could all be over.
So glad that he is doing fine.
Went to temple around 2pm got laddus, tried calling up Narya, but he did not pick the phone the few times I tried to call him. So returned back with the Euro-Chocolates.

End of the week(working), end of the month, end of the year.... phew another hyper year of ups and downs.....
2010 in Retrospect
Participated in 2010 Olympics,, volunteered
Got to see lot of free stuff there, souvenirs
Visited two European countries and 2 American countries,
Two clients,
Worked in NY for a few weeks after 8 years..
Visited Dallas, texas to meet a friend after 10, exact years to the day,
hmmmm danced salsa in 3 countries.
Got to see and know with certainty the revelation of true character (crooked, lying, cheating, manipulative, un-grateful behavior .....) of a certain person and prevented me from making the biggest blunder of my life.
Thank god/universe for protecting me there.
Sometimes we have to thank god/universe for the un-answered prayers. : )
Lets see what 2011 unravels
Wish list,
Travel : Cuba, Mexico, South America, India.
Learn : more about myself and improve as much as possible as a person.
To Do every day : more meditation, yoga, Run, stretching.
Fun : be connected with sincere good friends, dancing, meeting new people, know more and appreciate other cultures, heritages, thinking, practices.

Dec 30, power outtage

Woke up a lil late after getting drunk on vino and scotch.
Around 9am there was a power outtage, then realised about the circular from peco that there is going to be an outtage from 9 to 2pm...
Was not able to cook, heat do anything. So just had a shower, cereals with cold mild and got to office. Was planning on going to Barns and nobles and doing some study from there.
Got to work, took copies of the 2011 calender on time and date.
packed up the few docs/printouts that maybe useful for future reference.
hmmmmm 7:30 hope to hit the casino for some free salsa.. lets see how that works.
