End of the week(working), end of the month, end of the year.... phew another hyper year of ups and downs.....

2010 in Retrospect

Participated in 2010 Olympics,, volunteered
Got to see lot of free stuff there, souvenirs
Visited two European countries and 2 American countries,
Two clients,
Worked in NY for a few weeks after 8 years..
Visited Dallas, texas to meet a friend after 10, exact years to the day,
hmmmm danced salsa in 3 countries.


Got to see and know with certainty the revelation of true character (crooked, lying, cheating, manipulative, un-grateful behavior .....) of a certain person and prevented me from making the biggest blunder of my life.
Thank god/universe for protecting me there.

Sometimes we have to thank god/universe for the un-answered prayers. : )

Lets see what 2011 unravels

Learn : more about myself and improve as much as possible as a person.

Woke up a lil late after getting drunk on vino and scotch.

Around 9am there was a power outtage, then realised about the circular from peco that there is going to be an outtage from 9 to 2pm...

Was not able to cook, heat do anything. So just had a shower, cereals with cold mild and got to office. Was planning on going to Barns and nobles and doing some study from there.

Got to work, took copies of the 2011 calender on time and date.
packed up the few docs/printouts that maybe useful for future reference.

hmmmmm 7:30 hope to hit the casino for some free salsa.. lets see how that works.

power only came back around 2:45pm. heated up my fav Chicken curry and had it Roti.

Woke up around 6 and connected with sweta in bangalore. chated for some time about the conf call with bah and mat. Got to know more about the crookedness of british thru mats behavior. ahh these guys are born and bread with the attitude that the Indians are their slaves.
US and its people are so much more better and with sense of accountability than these sick guys with legacy of treachery.

got surprise call from tra. wanted to go out drinking around tomorrow or new years eve. told her will be with friend in NJ and asked to go tonite. Funny why all these women want to go when its more convenient for them and not convenient for me. lets see if she will call me tonite. it felt like she did not have a party to go on new years and so wanted to hole up with... more like sex into the new year.

And god only know where I will be after 1st week on next year. cheers, lets see, richmond virgina, or California or some where else..... hope its close to a city and I can go out dancing.

Woke up with the sound of gusty wind blowing. What started yesterday seems to be going on today, but the only difference is that we have sunny skies today. Will prefer the sun over clouds anytime.:)

Changed the location of the couch, lets see if it will bring about any change in the way of my life. trying to motivate myself to focus on doing some study and upgrading my skills

Saw the mail from the guys in welpoint. kind of felt like they are making a joke off it. sent me a sample .def file dated Oct 20 2009. and 3 Som files with just 2 to 6 lines in it.

So sent back a mail asking for more and logs when the issue occured or occurs.

Woke up around 7am.
got busy with heating up the lamb biriyani and making Bru Coffee. :) yumm.

Started looking for the after christmas deals, does not seem to have much like in Canada.
There is a forecast of snow Blizzard today on the east coast. So after checking the weather and knowing that I have 2 hrs before the snow hits us. Went to staples, Target and then Costco and brought 1.5 TB 3.0USB for about $140+8taxes.

Started copying files from my other computers and drives.

woke up slowly around 7, called up home and talked briefly. Again bad vibes with dad. Thats never going to change. he has is own way of thinking and complicating little things that do not matter and not listen to what anyone else is saying.

Anyways thats one thing I have to live with. Unlike anu who has stopped calling them up at all. maybe I need to do the same thing.
Cause I am easily available people just seem to think that they can take me for granted. Have to stop caring about people and become selfish and self centered like them all. Just have to focus on my own wel being and happiness and not care about anyone else.

Sick bastards and bitches.

Thats a great start to Christmas...

expecting snow tomorrow and day after. major impact on the shores and NY.

Had a 2 hr tele conv with Chakri in van . catching up on all the happenings and exchange of opinion and info about people in our lives. :)

Woke up around noon, after returning back from a fun filled Salsa/merengue/bachata night out at the Prax Casino at the border of NJ and PA state lines.

had also ended up buying Biriyani and yummy it was, but not dum ka biriyani as I had hoped for. more a punjabi one. $ 44 for 6 plates. much cheaper and more quantity than the ones at the hotels.

Called up anil chow, who had left a message yesterday night. Looks like they have some great issues at their nation wide call center. wooo all the Health care insurance net work around US is having a major call center Outtage for Christmas.

Around 8pm went for ride around Lansdale, everything seems to be closed for christmas eve. Only shop that had a few cars parked in front was Toys r us.

ok so I am just going to have my biriyani (lamb) and watch the Football (american football)

Woke up early to the alarm thats on my wrist watch. don't know how to change it. :(
got online and chated briefly with sweta about the plan of Action POA. Hopefully things go fine there.

was not able to motivate myself to do anything productive yesterday evening. not a good thing. atleast have to try and go cycling in the gym. And then get cracking on the material I need to read up on.

Left home around 8:45 and was at my desk at work around 8:50am.. now that the direct road is open, with low traffic, travel to work from homs is just 5 mins drive. :)

Woke up around 7am and decided to go be at work for the full days work of 8 hrs as its the last full working day of the year. Tomorrow is 23 and people start going home around afternoon, Dec 24th is the start of holiday. In addition to that the next working day at the office is Jan 4th.

Shortest day, woke up around 8 thinking that it was 9.
off to work around 11. hoped to do some reading on Cod and CCod or Crmod. but with all the talk and discussion going on it was not possible to do any reading.

returned to home around 3 and had lunch.

Then tried to read,,,, but ended up falling asleep after talking with Anil. Catching up on the excitment of last nights.
It was nice meeting someone from the West coast and knowing that we have common friends. A bit disappointed that i never to got to meet her before and like always only getting to meet nice and wonderful people when its time for me to leave this area.

Well thats like a the cycles of Karma repeating. Am I stuck in that pattern or will I be able to break out of that pattern.

Woke up around 10 and then watched online games and detective serials. was hoping to find sweta online and apprise her of the developments, which I have been kept out off by the crooked British arse, who seems to be carrying on the legacy of Crookedness, Politics, lies, decite and Manipulation that the British are known and have a rich history for.

did not for the team lunch. was not upto it.

went to work around 12:30 noon. out around 6pm. saw sangi going out for the holidays I guess when I was entering...

Motivated myself to go to Vango... met a few wonderful people there and had a blast dancing with Amie, the bachata, salsa and in the end a high energy MERENGUE.
The the gal from Seattle, not sure her name is , vivian, julia.....

Was too excited to fall asleep after that. got dinged $11 for a glass of wine.

Woke up early and then went to sleep some more, got busy with house keeping, great word for cleaning up the house, more basically put, cleaning up the bathroom, toilets and vacuuming the house.

Called up home and spoke briefly.

Then surprisingly got a call from Kabir.

now to cook up a storm with chicken curry in coconut milk.

got salmon from costco and veggies from patel shop.

towards evening decided to go out to downtown to dance salsa. not a great night.. it was like double the number to guys than girls.

in the morning loged on around 6:30 and chated with sweta and got to download more of the online documents for on demand courses.

Then saw the mail from hari and his asking us to sign up for the online classes. sweet $735 for that. hopefully paid for by the company.

Reached work around 1 with the hope of starting KT.

but by 2 no one seems to be there ready, around 3 Sri came by for the original KT secession we had planned.
and they others were just about finishing eating their lunch.

so just decided to go off to the war room, changing the location. And everyone followed.
Asked people to open up the PPT doc that I had prepared and sent to them. ash seemed to be offended, I did not care, others got behind him and got him back again. Anyways he remained in control and did not ask unrelated questions after that as he has and had done to others in previous presentations.

I liked the way he was shut up at the Ajil meeting as the presenter Tony was not able to understand his ascent. Ash gave up asking after a few tries. Well he has to go find people who may suck up to his attantion seeking , ego maniacal side of his. Surely not going to get it pampered by me.

Anyways got mail from mat again trying is bullying ways to try and get me to teach him the finer coding skills of CTI.

woke up around 5 and was on im with sweta in bangalore around 6:30am. as she had some softskill training.

Sent out mail to hari asking about the client details.

surprised to see mail from tara after a long time, was thinking about her yesterday. good to know she is doing fine and wanted to meet up for a beer or salsa. :)

Got to work around 12:30 and then got mail from mat for more KT secessions. around 2:56 for KT secesion for 2 hrs on monday. refused the meeting request and asked him what does he need KT on.
looks like he called up Aji and aji pinged me and asked me to come over to his room to discus.
on reaching there saw the reply mail with Ajit cced on it. wanting to know the nitty gritty of def files and scomm files.

Told aji that I am done with KT. and to teach him the basics of cti coding is not my job and he could go thru the document I sent him and learn from that.

latter we all ended up spending about 2 hrs debating over this and matt tries his cheap tricks of intimidating me. and sending a request for 1 hr each day from dec 21 2010 to jan 21 2011. Which officially was him crossing the boundries of respectabilty and resorting to harrasing me.

AFter composing the mail decide to wait till tomorrow to send it.

got online from home and was chatting with bachu and latter aji. sweta came online latter and helped me find doc related to CRM on demand.

Also saw msg from lubo, sent him a mail back explaining why i did not come to czech and that I never got his ph and details in valencia.

Woke up to the alarm. But decided to sleep in after taking a peek outside and seeing the sheet of white glory - snow. got to the Computer and remotely loged in to see that sweta had left for the day. Should have tried to log in at night after returning from salsa around 2.

may try to go to office in the afternoon. Should I take out my boots!!??

And it was great waking up to read something positive.

dropped of car for oil change and walked to work in the snow around 1:00pm.

Gave a kt (knowledge transfer) secession to Mohan. after 1 and hslf hr he seemed not interested anymore. decided to continue on with it tomorrow.

around 4:45 went to pick up my car and was told that they changed the wiper and air filter and the total cost of oil change worked out to 64.. hmmm was living with out using the back/rear wiper. and air filter was something I usually did on my own. after labor and stuff it costed 64... thats 3 times of what it would have usually costed me.

well lesson learnt... go to the chinese shop as the other guys do.

Woke up the usual alarm of 5am.
Then tried to log in and connect with bangalore for to apprise Shwetha about the KT to mat and her role and how to control expectations.
To tell that there are certain things u can teach. logical reasoning, problem solving are all conditioned to by the process of Education over the years in Engineering. Something that non-engineering people would find difficult to understand as their thinking would be conditioned in a different way by the training they had in schools and colleges.

Towards evening decided to go out dancing at the Reef.

got in time to take the class. Lots of hot chicks there. surprising on a very cold day.
Had one really great dance with Pam, such a sweet heart warming smile.

getting back home just at the start of the exit to lansdale from the highway there seems to a pile of snow. It was funny that it only seemed to have snowed in Lansdale and not anywhere east towards Philly Where I came back driving from.

via the office network. got to work around 11:30am after having brunch.

did not feel that good going there in the afternoon.

was there for the kt for mat. went and had a talk with aji about matts expectations and that I am not here to teach him my skill and knowledge, thats something the management has to decide and help him acquire.
And especially given the way he was rude and the arrogant way he behaved towards me in the beginning. I don't feel any sense of sympathy towards him.

aprised aji about him wanting the granular level of coding information during the KT again.

was at work early around 7:30 to catch sweta before she left. briefed her about what happened the day before and how we resolved the issue for the mocpop.

The saw the mails from tony who seemed to be talking in flowery words about my handling the situation.

Had lunch at work. tried to go thru some of the e-learning docs but seemed to pop up with some kind of errors. got to try it at home.

got to work early and was trying to localzie the issue and think that its because of the event that is been sent to siebel from avaya. new code by funy-denny.

around noon sent out a mail to the avay team and they wanted to see what was happening.

again took some time to convince them, who seemed to have an attitude of wanting to blame us for the mis-happening. after showing them the various other behavior, they decided to contact funnny-denny and on the 4pm conf call aprised him.
Around 5 we got to test it after his fix applied. Phew glad that this was over with the blame on them.

woke up early and did some stretching and stomach crunches..
need to loose the accumulating stomach fat. Its been building up for lack of exercise, which is cause of lack of motivation, which compounded by the cold weather, ,,,,,

Anyways got organizing the cloths from the dryer, had been there for about 2 weeks. Again laziness or the inclination to put it off. Glad that I don't have TV.

Got the heating and electricity bill, its taken a 100 percent jump,, from about $50 to $100 all because of the heating issues.

And the real cold has not started yet. ;(((

got to get cracking on the management certification and the new technology... great opportunity that I should not miss. Have to motivate myself and incorporate more self discipline.

got to work by 7:35am and saw that sweta @ bangalore ofshore was offline for about 30 mins. guess must have taken off from work early. Got in early to give her an update on the go live and the tele call button.

reach work by 7:45am then suddenly keep getting msgs from other asking me where I am. And the last one from bachu.....
As there appeared to be some kind of glitch in the moc tele call back web link.

well it was out of the scope of cti.

was there in the war room till afternoon. then decided to get home for lunch. Got to the car, pulled out and seeing the start of snowing.. went right back to the parking spot. Walked to the canteen and had a chicken wrap with fries.

Then back to trying to set up Cti in T5 and showing srikanth the current behavior of cti screens.

Before that came the strange mail from hari about wanting to train me in on demand contactcenter. and the subsequent mail to ajit about sending me for the contact center traing, which it turns out is something online for free for cog employess at the oracle portal.

went to work around 8am.. things went by smoothly on the cit front. nothing much to fret about.
just went and had lunch ,, pizza and chicken wings at the end around 2pm... cheers a huge phase coming to an end.

Time to go out salsa dancing tonite before it starts snowing on Tuesday.

went out dancing @ Cuba.. the cute bar tender was very sweet and friendly. kind of did not charge me the cover... said for you its on the house... woooo.. that was heart warming.

got to see that its going to snow on monday and not on tuesday as originally forecasted... glad I went out dancing today.

woke up with a sense of uncertainty, not knowing if it was a working day or was it a day to take it easy.
got to see a funny Mr bean dance on FB. thats nice to start the day with a laugh.

Got to start organizing and doing partial packing. Feels great to think of all the amount I saved not having a TV and the cable. approx $1000 at the min.

Uncertain about the plan to go to India as a Canadian citizen.

Around 10 went for a run about 2kms.in the -1 deg C temp. ended up with a frozen face.

started cooking Dosa and the chicken curry. hahaha, cooking dosa after a long time was a funny experience. only got it right on the 3rd dosa.

Around 2:30 got a call from joe asking me to come in for the smoke testing at 4 or 4:30 got ready after finishing the cooking and headed to work.
was nice to see that everything went thru smoothly for the Cti part. cheers

got back around 8:30pm. tempted to go out dancing salsa. but maybe I will go to the Cuban thing on sunday. lets see if Tara is interested in going, was not able to contact her after my return from Spain.

Dec 03 fri, last day of R19 project.

This is the last official day of the R19 release of the project. from evening onwards starts the work on moving all the work done by people into production.

woke up early to go and talk with swetha. actually connect from home and gave her a brief on what to expect and to do. reached office by 7:20 and talked to her on the phone.

market seems to be wishy washy, expecting it to go down.

In the evening set up the 4 nbg machines to point to prod for testing on the weekend.

Then since people were staying back to work during the night, me and basu went and got Thai food. yummmm yellow curry in coconut milk.

Woke up around 5am to the sound of the cell phone alarm. And guess where I woke up, on the couch. Don't know when i passed out there.
The made my way to the bed room to shut off the alarm and jumped on to the bed to wake up around 6:45. wow. I must be really tired or getting too lazy.

Had even dressed up yesterday evening to go run and ended up watching funny clips on Facbook.
Well maybe tonite I run.

talked with bosco about the next possible assignment. so might end up in VA. lets see how that goes.

The multitude of people I got to meet.

Got to know the depth and extend I could go for compromising in the name of love, just that it was for someone who did not deserve it and was not worth it. hehehe,, good lesson learnt to trust my instincts even more.

Some people are not good with it and hence "do not draw to conclusions too soon" applies to them.
And I have to learn to trust my instincts more now as they seem to be on target and on the money.
I am truly blessed with something unique. :)

It was nice to know that this is the last month of my project here and will have to move on to other location. Fingers crossed.

got back late after some great merengue and bachata. Then woke up early to get talking with Sweta about the set up in bangalore. she gave me to believe that they do not have the siebel much but more of raw cti work going on there and that they are recruiting more people in the CTI group. needing about 150 more.

got chatting with ajit when the issue of CATS time sheet came up. asked him about my last dates and he insisted on KT. told him its all in place.

Then asked him about sending out my resume to hari and bosco. Latter he asked me to send my resume and then he forwarded it to them with me in the CC.

So felt a bit better about that.

in the evening it was a toss between going out running the cold or going out salsa dancing again to the reef.

just got back from running 1 mile ,,, hehehe,,, yep about 1.7kms approx. hahaha feels so cheap compared to narayan and sara running the marathons and about 7 to 8 miles in one hr..

Woke up, but with difficulty got out of bed and then decided to connect from home. Chatted with sweta for sometime about the preparation of the proj going live. Then heated up the food and had brunch.

Around 11 the repair guy came in for fixing up the heating unit. Seems a wasp build a house at the out let and the flame was getting shut off. Only latter got to know that the repair man broke the house and may be destroyed the eggs in it. Felt bad that a few living creatures were killed and their house destroyed for the pleasure of my warm room.

Then by afternoon went to office , attended a foolish meeting organized by the nut case Tony.

got out and checked the la liga match and saw that Barcelona trashed Real Madrid by 5 goals... ahhh how could that happen. shocker. bummer...

The Heater seems to have a problem. Only the fan seems to be working. The heat seems to have stopped. Got to go and complain to the management or to peco.

Had to put on the heat via the cooking range.

Anyways after yesterdays upset stomach from eating Indian food. I don't think I will go visit Indian restaurant for a long time to come. Guess these guys just use liberal amounts of MSG.

Yesterdays hike must have been really grueling as I can feel my legs aching.

got out of the house around 2 and wanted to see what happened at the malls. oh god the black friday shopping was still on after people were out @ 3am ...phew all the roads closer to the malls were kind of stuck with traffic jams.

went to traget to check out the westing house TV of 40 inches they were selling for 289.
but it seems it was sold out.

Then went to staples and got a 8GB mem stick for $11. that was cheap.

Birthday,, got call from home.

went to work around 1pm. got back home around 7pm.. hehehe I am not living as per spanish standard time of working.

After a lot of self debating, went to Reef for the first time. great place to dance because the level of dancers was much better. and the chicks were hotter and sexier. hmmmm

met the lady who said it felt like mediating when dancing the bachata with me. Turns out to be from Italy.. ahhh I am naturally attracting Italians. Is there some kind of link there or is the universe trying to tell me something. Maybe I need to go to Italy. ;) got back home around 2:30am.

woke up as usual around 5am decided to wfh. so was able to have breakfast, go thru the learning material for PMP and then have lunch before heading off to work around 12:30noon.

out from work after a lot of just waiting for the clock to strike 5.

Get call from narayan, who just got back from india and had participated in the philly marathon.

Then was debating to do to Van Gogh for salsa or go tomorrow to Reef.
Should I shave tonite or no?

8pm get call from anil who just got out of work after they tried to go live the second time and failed...
Talking with him realized that I need to get yogurt for myself. So head out and get the yogurt from Genaurdies... wow atlast they have plain yogurt.

supposed to be Blue moon day, given to the the 3rd of the season, which are supposed to have only 3 full moons per season. When there are 4 full moons in a season the 3rd one is called the Blue moon.

woke up late in the afternoon after a great night out of salsa dancing and meeting some great gals. Behtney and then kate. Ending up meeting a lot of kates. The dance with kate was awesome. we were laughing and lots of eye contact and flirting and perfect ending with dips. wowow... She seemed to love the expression on my face and was also making expression and protecting me as I was protecting her from the dancers around the overly crowded dance floor.

She seemed so excited after the dance. Filled up my heart to see someone feeling so happy after dancing with me. woo hooo.

Ate the remaining Biriyani that I had got from Jersey city..... Dear old Hyderabadi Biriyani... I think the Al-watan biriyani from vancouver is still the best.

Contemplating about life and the past in terms of relationships, jobs, people I got to meet, some living lasting beautiful memories, many living scars with their mean selfish behavior, people I wish I had never met and had kept away from. But on second thoughts, because of these bad evil people I appreciate and value more of the good people in my life. Trade off, but something I could really live without.

Well atleast I know now with a stronger feeling the type of people I need to keep my distance and withdraw from.

It was great going for a run yesterday night in the cold. did not go far. but now feel good that I can do that run comfortably next time with out feeling the need to motivate myself to overcome the not so great feeling of having to run very long and far.
woke up early then slept again and woke up with a jolt around 6:30am and made it to work by 7:40am. Got hold of sweta and briefed her on the things happening here. And decided to meet up tomorrow on the call before I head to JFK airport for the Air India flight to New Delhi.

Got chatting with Vibu to know about Athira and Deepu. Well supposed to be a great day today or rather start of a great phase today in all respects and in getting the connection with new LOVE.. ;) hehehe.. about time to find a Honest, Loyal women.

Tired of putting up and been taken for granted by all these sick, lying, cheating women, who think that I must be some kind of idiot that they can just fool and mess around with all the drama.

Invest my time in quality women who have character and value in their thinking and attitude.
And watch out for the signs and not make the mistake of compromising and thinking that they will probably improve with the right direction. No they don't Eva is a great example of someone who will never improve no matter what positive info she is fed. A great example of someone whos head is so wrapped in selfishness, anger and crookedness.
Her only reason for not having ending up in a mental hospital is that she keeps reading the philosophical words and is able to temporarily be safe. But don't think she understands the depth of the words. Its just like a shallow outer coat, that disappears at the first rain.
Well shallow people all over the world are like that. Their true color always comes out when it really matters. No matter how glossy and appealing they appear when they are putting on an act.

Even thou had a great night out dancing with some sweet connections with people whos names I do not even know. (well they don't mine either).

Waking up in the morning did not feel right. Weather outside said it all with the drizziling.
Then at work got to know that ashi whos parents he was expecting to come to US to help with his wifes pregnancy had their Visa app rejected by the US consulate. Such a heart breaking and screwed up situation to all the plans he must have made. And no valid reason given as to reason for rejection.
For a few fleeting moments our dreams and life is in the hands of the few people who tend to think that they are gods and play with it. POWER and its mis-use has always been a big part of human beings abuse.

does physical appearence matter, as much as we like to sound like who are full of virtue, we all still have a certain degree of shallowness about us.

As I see a sweet looking gal at salsa, with a very sweet smile always on her face, like she was born with that smile, I am not able to think of anything else but feel the pull on the upper part of my heart like its doing a happy dance. It was like i was falling in love. the same sensations. Why is this happening. is it cause i am associating her disarming smile and face to an image of the ideal women full of sincerity, loyalty and innocence, associating it to the image of someone I could just lower my guard trust her fully to not break my heart and just be my goofy self?
Doing what I do naturally with out any pretentsions and still expect her to love me unconditionally.

tired to wake up early after a great night of salsa. got to work around 8am. 8:30 made the international presentation and KT for M on C.

Got to see the mails from the jack arse tony to others. thanks to susan forwarding it to me.

some arses are so stuck on playing the blame game and not taking any responsibility or focusing on trying to solve the issues. That in the end they throw every one out of focus.

anyways was able to look at the new issue that came up of Pref language not getting set back to English. great to find the solution even before the QC was logged.

Great to become friends with rucika and mary via FB. Two malus.

8pm off to Vango for some merengue and sexy bachata. Noticed that the bottles put up on the wall had Van Gogh paintings in them. so thats why its Vango.

Danced a very sensual dance with a lady, with eyes closed. She latter said it was like meditation. It sure was.

Feeling better after a good nights sleep. Scotch helped too.

Hiking in the afternoon, then some cuban salsa in the evening.... yea the good times are rolling.
Its Childrens day in India.
The day all school going kids look forward to, getting some kind of sweets from their teachers.

Phew... what a great beef curry creation, my best so far I think. Everything fell into place and did not miss out adding anything. Got to add a few veggies too making it a wholesome healthy curry.

Hiking was great too. got to meet a few nice people new to the group. Beautiful hike for a sunday.

Now to get ready and head for some cuban salsa...

Absolutely amazing little place called Cuba in chestnut hill, with a very friendly crowd. Had a bachata with ahira and people clapped after the dance. It felt good to be appreciated and thou I don't think that I am anywhere near good. I just improvise and try to play by the feel of the song. And sometimes the moves just come out from the heart. And one gal thought I was trained in ball room or some hi-fi kind of dancing.

Got mail from malini wanting to coordinate going out next weekend. well I am not sure where I might go or feel like going. just do not wish to commit to something I am not sure.

was not able to sleep with the reported issue that was happening. was trying to figure out what the issue was.

Was drifting in and out of sleep and trying to check the nagging issue. So early morning 7:30 reach work and then see that there has been an update. Deny the avaya guy finds the bug. when we were all focused on something else he found the quote close for one number missing. " ' " , just that one lil thing caused so much problems.

So when the other joined in the call around 9:30am suggested to do a test. Again the arse hole Tony was at his scarcastic best trying to be the best arse in the world.
Then after some explanation, all decide to hook up at 11am

The tests go well and fine. just that another bug / issues becomes evident.

Then again a series of waiting for them to finish the tests... George joins on chat with me and susan. who was kind enough to join me in the war-room early morning at 11. we debate about the issue and then I tell that I will try to simulate it on t5 on monday.

Around 1:30 we take off towards home. And again i missed a great opportunity to go hiking with a huge crowd today. More people seem to come in after seeing my pics.. hehehe I am now a famous hiker and iPhone photographer.

Go live day for the first piece of code of mine into Production. rather the go live would be on monday. But the code gets pushed into PROD today evening 8:30pm.

Woke up around 5am and got to work by 7:20am.
got to talk with sweta in bangalore before she left for the day. apprised her about the happenings and motivated her to feel better about handling issues here after I leave.

ajay seems to be having issues before his taking off to india for his marriage. damm these issues have a funny way of turning up when you least want them to. Same thing happened before I left for europ. 5 months of non-activity and suddenly two days before I leave, series of issues.

confused as to what to reply to malinis mail. She is just reminding me of Eva with her behavior. Don't want to get into a relationship or sucked into a relationship with selfish - self centered people.
Had I been in a relationship with her maybe I would have made the effort to explain to her. Now I am least bothered to make the effort as she is not someone I am interested in and do not want to be sucked into the drama. She will just go on to behave like evil eva no matter what I tell her. So I just zip up and pretend nothing is the matter and keep my distance.
Why do all these drama queens try all these sick irresponsible, lack of accountable behavior and then expect to be treated like queens and expect others to shower them with un-divided attention that they do not deserve?

They don't even try to make the effort and then expect others to make the effort. Yea right, like I am going to.

Tried, rather went out of my way more than any man would ever, setting aside my pride and self-respect. And what does it result in? Just more pain and heart break for me. dis-respect towards me and my life.

awww Fuck it, these people do not deserve any kind of attention or good feedback. LEt them just continue on their path of self destruction and then wonder why no one is interested in them for the right reasons.

When some one is interested in them for the right reasons, they tend to treat them like shit and take them for granted. Then who would even want to pay any attention to their sick personalities. After sometime the interested people will surely move away too.

Well atleast I am not going to get sucked into that loop again, no matter how tempting it is.

woke up and did some light work out. now I feel a little better and lighter, rather a bit loosening of the tightness I was feeling because of the accumulating fat from laziness.

Got to work around 8am. Traffic seems to be crazy at that time. took me about 20 to 25 mins to get from home which should have taken 5 to 6 mins. Should get back into the getting out of house early.
Atleast I am having 3 meals a day now with breakfast.

may take off from work early after the meeting and the wfh.

Trying to focus on the purpose that I have defined for myself. Controlling the monkey on viagra like thoughts is a on going task. Discipline is faster and best achieved with the help of a trainer or teacher. Absence of which or not been interested in taking on one, rather trying to be the master of ones own domain may feel less stressful and peaceful. But may not help in achieving ones full potential. No pressure/hardwork no gain.

Guys have now suddenly got motivated to start planning for new year party. Well their only idea is to sit and drink and play cards, not my kind of thing. I like to hit the out doors and do something physical, go dancing and clubbing on new years.

Great party with a variety of foods. Mostly north Indian flavor. Had puri after a very long time. :)
Took a bottle of costly Whisky. only half the bottle was finished.

Then the guys started playing Cards. And I decided to stay off as its not something I am into. I am more an outdoorsy guy.

got back home around 7pm which was like 8pm yesterday. It was dark outside by 5:30pm.

Ended up having one of my best salsa in philly. Danced bachata and merenugue with Kate. After the merengue she said that it was the best dance she ever had. And I had the best bachata after about an year.

Getting back into the groove. Hope the next job the salsa clubs are close by or I get hitched soon.

Again ended up meeting an italian gal, all my walls went up and then suddenly she wanted to know my age and was getting too personal in her question. I had to avoid giving her a straight answer and then politely moved away.

hahahaha,, could not help but laugh at the contrast in weather of yesterday and today. Rainning all over and it feels like one of those days in Vancouver. Well atleast its warmer.

Was not motivated to getup from bed thou I woke up around 5am. tossing and turning, falling asleep for sometime, then waking up with some kind of weird dream of people from the past and some faces I have never seen before. Good dreams to medium good ones.
Pulled myself out of bed around 7:30am hahaha thats another contradiction, used to be at work by 7am.

Or is my body trying to pre-adjust to the daylight saving time coming. guess next week it would be appropriate.

Reached work after a good shower in the warm water, strong expresso coffee with lots of milk, low sugar(ah a take away habit from spain), cereals in coffee. hehehe so that I don't have to put in milk.

Trying to motivate myself to do the management program of virtual secessions so that I could go for PMP. Don't feel that I am young and fast thinking enough to compete technically with the new breed of highly compititive kids in the work force anymore.

Its sad to know that about 40 to 50 percent of the people who were working in the NB call center are been laid off. And all the people who were working on the 1st floor are getting moved to the 2nd floor.

Afternoon did my first WFH. And suddenly every one is sending me emails with something. I got more work emails in this one afternoon that the whole month.

anyways helped dpu with his resume and hope he gets thru into my company. His english seems to have improved a lot.

The skyline outside looks invitingly beautiful, signs of another wonderful day. Felt sick yesterday by evening and hence passed out on the couch. woke up around 2 and went to bed. So ended up skipping dinner that I had put to heat up in the microwave. Only realized that in the morning. Well will have the meat curry with rice for todays lunch.... turned out too spicy for my un-challenged stomach. So watering it down to make it mildly spicy.


Got to wrk by 8:20am,, sliding down with the sun rise happening around 7am. well feels much better than the rainny gloomy Vancouver weather for sure with briht skies. Not liking having to scrub off the layer of ice on the wind shield of my car every morning.
Hope I get to a warmer place after this in 2 months.

maybe try to get some PMP done... ahhhhh that feels good. Purpose in life is a good driving factor.

Tested for dt code good. sent out msg. now need to do the Sop , funny how people seem to be more into twisting things than following standards. Well atleast I am not going to be here for long..... wishing the days would go faster and then I would be out of this place. Keeping fingers crossed with hopes of getting job in Dallas..... it would be awesome there with ani.

Start of week, month... got some tough meetings up today. Its like everyone seems to have invited everyone for the meeting I set up. Ahhh I hate to be in the middle of the stage. Stage fright has been my greatest weakness. Afraid of attention. Afraid that something bad will happen and always to me.

Other people seem so at ease and seem to want attention more and more. But not me. I just shy away from it. But don't mind loving attention from one person at a time. But that does not seem to happen too often as I wish. :) hehehe lifes sweet twist and turns.

Was thinking about k who I saw yesterday on the hike. She seems to have such a sincere and honest looking face. And also a wall around her. Felt like reaching out to her and was wondering how it would be to be in love with someone like that. Seems to be very educated with a degree or a masters from the mid-west.
Next time gonna ask her out and see how it goes. Just that I don't get to meet her frequently.

was thinking about Sara too, but looks like she does not feel the same intensity as i do.

Feeling much good and better about myself after getting to the root cause of the problem that was troubing the Mok application. With all the fingers getting pointed towards the code I developed. It feels good to know that the issues or root cause of the issues is else where.

Thanks to the extra effort that i had to put in over the weekend screwing up all my fun and enjoyment. But the feeling I am feeling now with discovering the root cause and knowing the solution if a particular requirement needs to be met. Makes me feel much better about myself. And I am sure the bosses feel the same about me and my week end efforts. Feels nice to be unselfishily appreciated and made to feel good by people.

If only some other people who I so foolishly fell for and was hoping that they would realize how their Overly selfish actions was hurting me felt even a bit of the same gratitude towards the care and sacrifice I made to constantly make them happy..... But again they are who they are and I am who I am, and the lesson learnt is that I should have listened to my instincts when I first saw their self-centered attitude and JUST WALKED AWAY.

And its not worth all the effort, pain, constant Stress, heart break, been taken for granted and kicked around as thou nothing about me and my thoughts, my feelings mattered. Even if the feeling of love was overwhelming.

Its just not worth the effort to try to communicate with someone who has a closed mind about their own actions and self. That is I am too perfect to be corrected. And I don't want to analyze my past actions..... Some people just go bull dozing into the future without trying to learn from their past.

The sad part is, it takes some time and getting to see some of their behavior and a few attempts before we can convince ourself that its a lost cause And most of all that its not our fault that they are who they are.

Euphoric feeling after having got to the root cause of the issue and knowing that its got nothing to do with my code.

And other feather with after organizing the meeting between all the screwed up political game players in the company..... wish and hope i do not have to do those kind of things again and keep away from such people.

trying to decide if I should go to my fav salsa place on monday. or with the sub zero temp today, should I just stay home as most of the people in Philly have had been to the salsa festival that was happening during the weekend and must be resting it out.,,,?????

woke up debating to go for a hike or not. as its in the same neighbor hood that I have been so many times. well just decided to go and get some physical movement.

Sundays hike is going to be at Valley forge, thats the one I wanted to go.

Posted the rent for Nov. Its going to be 7 months mid of nov. and in 2 more months it will be time for me to move.

liked the apt, but not the location.

Went to the office to see if the moc mcs behaved the same way on a incoming call. and it turns out that they do. So its got to do something with the machine setting.

Sent out a mail to joe and snagi.

Got home and was chatting with anil and mentioned the strange behavior to him looked into the regedit after searching on google. Seems to be offering a solution, remains to be seen tomrrow .

Kind of mixed feelings, was feeling useless with not much happening in terms of work here or potential work. That way felt any new job could give me a better feeling of having contributed to the world and my own self worth

But now with the uncertainty of the economy and then the scope for openings in my particular specialty, its scary too. MIXED feeling

It was really strange how Mei and me are connecting. I sent her a msg yesterday on FB and she sends me a msg on yahoo from Cuba.
internet there costs about 20 dollars per hour. Must be the costiliest internet service. Anyways hope to call her when during the weekend.

Chakir and the others in vancouver are going to cuba last week of Nov. Wish I could have gone with them. But thats the time when the project is going live. Well I stil do have that place to visit, in my list of places to visit.

need to get more details from Mei soon. she has a return ticket for mid of nov thou.
It was so strange way to meet her in Lisboa , dance salsa with her to the music played by a Slovakian guy. Then next day to run into each other in the heart of Madrid. Coincidence just like they show happening in movies.

These series of coincidence was what got me closer to Evil last year. Well its nature doing its work to help me learn and to do what I am supposed to do, experience, learn and make an effort to become a better person.

Woke up thinking how was I able to love, or was I in love with the image of someone nice, while in fact that person was the most EVIL and SELFISH person ever, I let come into my life. Some one who does not seem to have any sense of GOOD from BAD, any sense of HONESTY, rather cold and calculating than been able to do anything from the heart.

Oh how I am so dispising that person and just wishing and kicking out any fleeting thought that comes by, with an vengence I have never felt before.

Just the realization that the person I thought was loveable, is acutally a person I would rather love to HATE.
Its so reliving and healing.

Thank god, the universe, the higher powers, for all the unanswered prayers, thanks much for protecting me and looking out for me.

Get to work by 8:10 after a hearty rice and salmon curry breakfast. did not realize how fast time went by, cause joe pinged me for the meeting.

Was too busy whole day, got home for a brief lunch of againnn salmon curry and rice. tasted better with tomato pickle.

got out of work around 7:30.. awww almost 11hrs working and not feeling tired.

Was organizing things so that the Load testing with the bunch of people will go smoothly,

went to costco after work and got some bit size snacks, like tapas, but sweeter.

Went to sleep around 4am after coming back from salsa and talking with Mali on the phone while she drove home.

Got mail from her about her head aech in the morning and rather preferring to have biriyani take out than been able to cook dinner for us. oh well this is kind of slow day , did not enjoy yesterdays salsa much either at brasils.

Lets see after tuesdays load test, I should feel a bit more off my shoulders and be able to go out on Monday and Wednesdays when the better dancers come.

Going to get my Cable connected internet today afternoon. So have to put off all plans in the afternoon.

Might as well start with cleaning up the house and getting things in order and go to costco to get groceries.

Have to prepare for the Load test on Tuesday. not sure how it will go. Got about 14 volunteers, got to see how many will turn up.

Called up home, had a frustrating talk with dad today.

Went to costco after that and got salmon and diced beef and milk. Got to start getting into cooking mode.

So very true, because, so many people quote wise sounding words and then feel good about it by reading about it.
But when it comes to acting and action, they end up been the most Evil and sick of all the people around.

Hence its wise acts that count and not the words of sayings.

Any fool or any Evil person can quote the holy scripture, Bible, Koran, Gita, Ramayana, Buddhas teaching, Zen,,,,,, Just because they quote wise words does not make them wise or nice people. That is an assumption soaked in the foolishness of deciet.

Watch out for what they do and not what they say. Because as my mom said, actions speak louder than words.

Got to work around 8;15am there was a thick fog all around with poor visibility. That is the sign of the Cold winter setting in and days getting shorter.

Was feeling sick, had a troubled sleep, with coughing and heavy chest. Some kind of virus infection, Ajay seems to have got it yesterday and was at home. For me it started yesteday afternoon.

So very glad that I made the trip alone, so different from the feelings of my last one month trip with Evil spirited person.

Got to meet so many wonderful people from around the world from every inhabitated continent in the world. The one day trip to Lisboa was amzing experience on a European train. The return trip in a Sleeper was so congested. Trains in India of the same class were much more spacious.

Well got to work around 7:30, called up bangalore and talke with sweta and got a report on what happened during my absence.

Cleaned up the emails in both the companies boxes... its 9:20 and no one has yet come into work.

Got out of the room around 8:30am, was waking towards the metro, when I saw Mike Monroy on the street waiting for his wife.
What were the odds of that happening.

Landed in Philly around 2:15pm local time.

Was given a new I-94. was surprised that I was told that I don't need new-one when entering from Vancouver. But the border immigration guy was kind enough to fill out the I-94 for me. Just asked a couple of questions as to which company and what was my designation.

Got to the train just outside of PHL airport. out at 30th street. and Then the R5 train to Lansdale. back home in about 2 hrs. No hassel with traffic or driving, all for the day pass of $10.

Talked with Anil and called up Nar.....

Got my car started and went for a 15 min ride around 8:pm.

Heated up a frozen pizza and had it. Want to have rice..... really feeling the need for a fix for not having eaten any Rice based starch.
Shows how addicted an south Indian is to Rice and curry.

Even after having all the glamorous sounding dishes in Spain and portugal, Vino with every meal.... I love Vino-tinto was how Cecili the lovely spanish lady who danced the merengue with me in madrid said. She had such a lovely thin waist. So easy to lead. That was instant chemistry.

Reached Lisboa 7:40 GMT.
a bit lost and confused, bid bye to the Brazilian guy who was traveling around. Then got talking with the Estonian gal who visited india and is into Yoga, we both checked our luggage into the storage.

She seems to want to be alone. and walk around alone. Seems to have lost her ticket to another place and seems to be sad.
Offered her breakfast, but she said she would like to eat avacado that she has and that she is a vegitarian deeply into yoga and other Indian spiritual things. owwww..

Connected with her, gave her a nice hug.

Then after walking about a bit, I went to the tourist info place...was waiting there when I saw her come there again, heeyy we meet again.

Was walking uptown of Lisboa when I ran into Jason, the Aussie chinese. we decided to walk around together.



Danced a bit of Salsa with Mable/Po the chinese, claims to be a model.

We had an amazing time together just hanging out together and walking about Lisboa.

She was drawing all kinds of attention from people around.

The only that was shocking is the number of people who approached us to sell us Drugs. Shocking that in the center of the city, the people are so easily walking about offering tourists drugs to sell.

time to check out and leave the luggaqge at the hostal and then explore madrid even more and around 10:20pm get on to the train to Lisboa spain.

Its was so nice of Mike to offer me to stay at his beach house in Rota, spain by Mediterranean sea.

Yesterdays chat with Eva,,, she is still the same sick person. Wish her attitude would improve. And her dad is been so nice. What a contrast.

Guess she thinks that I am fool or underestimating me. IF i wanted to do something bad, it is the easiest thing to do. Or should I do something bad? I hope that I don''t change my mind and do something bad. OR should I teach her a lesson so that she does not go around taking advantage of people like she is continuously doing.

Back to dancing with Maria who works at the reception, she was so easy to lead, and she just follwed when I cross body lead her.... wow... If I was living here I could possibly fall in love with her so easily.

Great place to come retire, just like in Mahe/tellicherry ... but with the extra of Wine at every lunch and dinner.

Its 4:30pm rather 10:30am EST and I am the only one sitting at the bar and the cute receiptionist/bar tender.. who does not speak much english but she helped me by putting on the Real madrid football game channel yesterday.

5pm we have group meeting and the again meeting one on one with the spanish people from 6 to 7:50pm

Woke up and headed to the breakfast brunch they had down. Had to pay about 8 Euros for that. Kind of feeling funny trying to adjust to 6 hrs time difference.

Got packed and set for the next trip and checking out.

9:45am was the pick up to Valdalavilla via Soria.

reaach Val around 2pm in between stop at Medinacelli for lunch and walking around a bit. This was a town on top of the hill over looking a valley and seemed to have lots of history associated to it.

Got talking with Jesus who was doing his Phd in micro biology. nice guy and then at medinaceli got talking with Jose who is an spanish engineer.

After reaching Valalavilla we get our own indiviual rooms. Jesues, Donald and me get a house with our own bedrooms and attached toilets.

7:40 am land in Madrid, local time, go thru the wrong line, was ment for EU citizens. then had to get back into the end of another line. Was asked what I am going to do in Spain, said, may go visit Porutgal or go to Czech republic. And mostly in madrid to visit muesuems.

by the time i got to the luggage pick up, my luggage was not there as by then it was some other airlines. in panick mode asked the green dressed police. Who did not seem to speak any english... okay here is my first encounter in an non-english speaking country and the start of the universal language of signs.

they point me in a general direction, what looked like some Airline counter. Go there and see my luggage was kept outside. Tell the guys that its my luggage and in broken english he asks me for my ticket. show him the ticket and get my luggage.

Now to get to the Metro.

Was walking along atleast know to read the script guiding me to the Metro. Gosh it would probably a bigger nightmare not been able to even read the script. Imagine been in countries where I cannot read the script. China, japan. korea.

See a tourist info counter with a huge queue. hahaha people from europe complain about indians not having the disciplin and cutting lines,, these guys here seem to do it too.. Great eye opener to their Double talk and bull shit of culture and superirority.

The impatient lady at the tourist info seems more interested in giving me a prepared lecture than been able to answer my quesiton about the Abino tourist pass for the metro I wanted. She seemed surprised and looked like someone hearing about that for the first time and said that there is no pass like that.

So make my way to the exit and hop on to a bus that would take me to the Terminal closest to the Metro. once there see an information center for Metro. with two lovely girls. Ask them if they spoke english. With a poker grumpy face she says yes and so ask her about where I could get the day pass. She says she has it, again not a trace of smile. Good english, but grumpy looking customer service.

Get the Abino or abano tourist pass (latter realized that I could get that at vending machine too), and make my way down the esclators. just following the crowd and looking at the metro map. Glad I did a bit of home work in philly about the trains and connection trains to take.

Reach Euro building around 10:30am. pass a Burger king on the way. Shocked to see that they only open after 12 noon and open till 12 midnight.

The guy at the euro building checks my reservation and then says the my room is not ready and it may take about another hour. Atleast this guy seems to be trying to speak some english. Must be the guy I spoke to on the phone trying to make the reservation.

Ask him if I could leave the luggage there and take a walk out towards the real madrid stadium

The streets seem deserted @10:30 am did hear that the spanish party till early morning and then sleep the whole satruday and then hit the clubs again on Sat night.

The only crowd seems to be at the stadium, where people were getting down bus loads. Must be one of the most popular attractions.

Around 12noon get back to the Euro building and still the room is not ready. So take a walk to burger king and have my break fast or is it late dinner EST.
Again the only person speaking english there was the manager. The other people seem to be from South America and not knowing a word of english.

Get back and was given a room 412. great looking room for 65 euros. with 2 beds, kitchen with cooking pots, couch that could be pulled out into a bed. 2 tvs. Would have been great for a family.

Try to get into the shower and find that the tap was not working . Call up reception and tell the lady about it. Says will send maintence guy. and it might take upwards to an hr. Ahh i need to go out and if this guy takes an hr to come. when will i have my shower. So go down and try to talk to the guy who seemed to know a bit better english. Ask his if they could change my room so that I could have my shower. he says the rooms are not ready. dammmm here it starts the famous Spanish Customer service or lack of it.
Frustrated get back to my room and then go down again after 30 mins to find out about the maintaince guy. because now they stopped picking up my phone calls.

He says the maitance guy is coming. Get back to my room to find the maintence guy there working on the loose tap. Then he shows me the trick at holding it down and turning it. Well atleast it works. just for this one shower and one toworrow morning.

have the shower and head back to the metro towards the heart of Madrid. SOL.

walk around the place, go to the Plaza Mayor. There is an Argentinian festival going on there.

Was thinking about the Tapas evening get together organized in the Euro building. was it at 5:30 or 7:30. anyways see decide to be there by 6:30. reach back to the room around 5:30 relax a bit and then head down to the bar. And meet up with the bunch of people who said even they were confused. So have a couple of root beers and after exchanging a few pleasentaris its time to run out. Get to know that most of them were staying downtown near SOL. So I decide to join them and tell them about the Plaza mayor and the Argentinian festival going on there.

Get a few people interested, Alan, jil, kim and gaby. the others take off.

my aim was to hit the salsa club close to Sol. jill seemed interested. kim and gaby head off from the plaza mayor as kim was not taking to the crowds. jil been from NY was comfortable. I liked the crowd engery there.

we decide to walk around to find a place to eat. after walking around a bit and getting put off by the prices. Alan splits and then jil wanted to go to her room and rest up.

So I was left all alone to explore the streets of madrid. try checking on the clubs, the first one I could not find. then after asking a few people who were trying to speak english got to know that its been closed permanently. So try to go to El son. around 10pm and the club was empty. was told that it might get people by 12 midnight. Now i remember again that these guys do not come out till 1am and party on till morning.

Got a bus to catch in the morning to Soria. So decide to call it a night and go enjoy the rest of my 65 euro bed.

Made it out of work, around 12:30. got to home and then did the last minute check and re-adjusting.
Got into the train around 1:20pm changed at the station before 30th. And got on to the train to airport. all for $10 day pass. nice to have the train station just outside of my appartment.

Gave the day pass to one of the guys at the security.

Got into the airport and decided to exchange my $$$$ to euros. ended up getting a lousy exchange rate and additional fees. so in effect paying 1.62 for a euro.

Flight was okay. had to pay $6 for alcoholic drinks. bummer, lousy US airways.

As per suz who was there a few weeks ago, she said that it was a bit below warm as its in the mountains and she wore jeans.

So dropping the shorts and only taking jeans.

Called up the bank in india, grrrr did not have my account number with me.

around 10am got call from mom about it. need to call the bank today evening.

Was too lost in solving the issue that came up yesterday... this sucks, I am leaving tomorrow and nothing happens for a month and suddenly on the last day... grrr hahaha these are the funny tests in life.

one more day and then I am set for the trip. Getting mixed feelings. More because of traveling alone. With not much purpose. As suz put it, she has been enjoying every moment and still does not want to return back home after 3months. Well she is a women, so its easier and more exciting for her.
How many doors would open for a short dark guy like me?
Remains to be seen.

It was funny how I passed out around 7:30pm yesterday and woke up after 2am with beeping from the microwave. I had put the chicken curry to heat up for 2 mins and just laid on the couch and next thing I know its 2am.
Got the curry out and put it back in the Fridge for todays lunch.

Got to work around 7:30am and got talking with Sweta, as she will be taking care of stuff in my absense from India. Gave her the contacts to contact in case of some emergency. As I will not be able to be in touch as may be deep in some mountains of Soria where they do not have cell phone access. Not sure of internet.

then there she mentioned about the mosque-temple issue thats been fermenting in India. A verdict from the court been pending tomorrow. The whole of India is waiting with anticipation and peoples religious sentiments are waiting to blow over.
I just hope that the fools don't kill anyone fighting with each other.
But I am glad I was able to talk to her today as there is no knowing what could happen tomorrow after the verdict.

Its also funny how the one door closes, another opens up concept is so much around us.
Here I just lost the last of the free wi-fi connection at home and suddenly the personal eamil access at work opens up.
It was like a switch.

Guess I am going to enter into a new phase of my own life. Watched the vaughn video and almost moved to tears and choked up to know that there are people in the world who are like me. It would be interesting to spend time with the group of people who seem to come from different places. Hope to make some very good friends of like thinking people.

Only pending "to-do" is getting some Euros for pocket change. Better to use Credit card as it seems to have lower margin of exchange compared to directly getting Euros from the bank.

3 more days and I am on my solo trip to Europe. Not really sure and filled with doubts. Especially with bad memories and experience of sick behavior from the one European that I thought I knew.
Left a very bad impression of Europeans as a whole and their un-hospitable and selfish way of thinking and behavior.

So different compared to the feeling of hospitability and warm concerns that I and many others extended to her.

Got to try and focus on the positive, now that Gulia seems to be making plans and the effort to try and meet me in Madrid. so different from the selfcentered behavior of someone else.

And the mail from Suz seems to be very encouraging too. lets see how it works out. Stepping into the unknown realm. My first ever trip to Europe all alone and on a budget.

4 more days to trip to Spain. Anticipation building up. not sure what to expect, don't know the language, don't know anyone there.
Just going there on a fancy after getting de-motivated by not been able to make the trip to Czech.

was so looking forward to meeting and experiencing Czech after hearing so much about the sweet lil place called Othrokovice. But things happen and people give us attitude which does not go with good hospitality. Then why would one want to go to places where one is not welcomed. Rather made to feel like an enemy.
so I Rather go to places where one is made to feel welcomed.

Well thats life, some people make big claims about their culture at every possible opportunity, a culture that they themselves don't hold highly in regard and are constantly looking to adopt someone elses culture,, hehehe.. funny and with out any logic is some peoples thinking.
The worst part is changing the values of ones culture to suit the needs of the moment and fancy full thinking. Well people tend to be fools and will always be lying to themselves and surely to others with out any deepth in their superficial life.

Its like painting a house in bright attractive colors that is construted with bad material and bad foundation. Soon the venere of superficialy will collapse and the house will crumble.

Its just sad and painful to watch someone you love end up been so blind and oblivious to what we tell them or try to communicate with them. More because of their own self centered ego that prevents them from feeling any sense of humbleness more greared towards arrogance and selfishness.

There is only so much you can do. Then have to harden your heart and move on. It was not ment to happen. Just have to be more careful about my choices going foward. Thou the child like innocence and sincerity in me has taken a beating with all the cruel words and hurt from been at the receiving end of someone elses thoughtless and selfish behavior.

Lessons learnt by analysing and understanding the past, revealing with each new day a new understanding. Never to forget the past lessons. Which helps in the main function of Understanding. Because lessons are okay, but not of much use, if we do not analyze and understand the lesson. And with each passing day when we look back at various lessons and experiences, we have a whole new understanding. That I belive is whats called Evolution of thoughts and understanding.

Got to work late around 8:20 which is still early. now its 9:20am and yet I am the only one in the room. :)

He is going to Italy around Oct10 for a week along with Smitha. So both of us will be in Europe at the same time.

Had biriyani for lunch. with chicken manchurian indian style.
Then meditated for 30 mins. must have been really weak. As I passed out.

So now should I go to Vango for one last dance before heading out to Europe. Does not feel that enthusiastic going there alone. but lets see the people I got to know in the group. How it works out. Go with an open mind. But now it does not feel that enthuisiastic or any kind of build up anticipation. Kind of feels hallow, rather not something I would like to do on my own. Well this should be an experience for me to do something on my own. Used to been a team player, now I need to see how well I can do things on my own in a foreign country that i have no knowledge of language, place or culture.

Watched the motor cycle diaries. The DVD that was given to me by Gia in 2006. Funny that I had it for so long and never got around to watching it.

Afternoon we had the Biriyani and then went to peace valley with narayan and viki

They did not seem particularly interested in getting on to the kayak or the boat.

Then took them to the farm. hoping that the mini golf would get them excited. They just seemed to be in a very Indian mood of sitting at home and watching TV or a movie. But sorry I don't have a TV.

Around 4:30 they take off. Viki dropping Naryana in New jersey.

Evening dropped off the check for next months rent.

internet net was down, got another connection.

Then hit the gym doing the cycling for 1 hr on level 3 resistance. Was watching the Amazing Race.
Wish I could participate in one of those races going around the world. Not really to win, just for the experience of the race and doing some of the cultural tasks of that particular region.

Woke up a bit charged after yesterdays running. woke up and did more stretching and light crunches. Feel the body tightening up. Rather focused on the work out and having breakfast rather than reaching work.
Reached work around 7:45am took 20 mins in all the early morning traffic. No wonder I was able to reach work faster when I start off around 6:45am. In less than 10 mins. What a huge difference 30 mins makes.

Got call from Vishnu from hyderabad around 7:20 was just getting out, told him will call in 30 mins. Got to work and called him up with calling card.

WEnt for Indian food with the team at Amans.. great food, but my stomach was in turbulance.

went off home from work around 3:30 slept off and did not see the call from malini at 5:30 wanting to go salsa dancing. returned her call around 7:30 by then she was not in a mood to go as she was going to wineyard sat early morning at 5am.
So thank my stars in a way and head out to Brasils. ahhhh too many guys and not many girls. Guess this happens when there is a women teaching the basics.

Anyways end up dancing with the Envi Engg gal and another new gal. There were lots of girls who walked up from the lower disco wearing minimum clothing,,sexy and they were just dancing in their own groups with their own guys.

retruned back with a mixed feeling.

Was able to do some light work out for 10 to 15 mins before heading out to work. Did not care for the time, woke up around 5am. Got to reply to a few emails.

feeling better already with the work out. Only difficulty is in motivating myself. hahaha the motivation I had today was the tightness I felt with the pants yesterday.
Also had 3 meals yesterday including dinner after a very long time yesterday night was a huge change.

Today got to get in touch with the lady Agnes O in NY in the Dept of Labor as the Virgina dep of labor said since the work was done in NY it does not have jurisdiction.

Was able to get home for lunch and have the chicken curry and rice with tomato pickle.

Completed the Estimation learning in the afternoon. Got to Start on the PMP with its 58 hrs .

Talked with Anil when he was with his kid at the dentist, ending up spending upwards of $400 for his filling even with insurance.

out of work by 5:20 and home.

Around 7:30 went for a brief run about 2 miles. got back and did some light work out. felt good.

Then had Rice and bannana. and curd(yogurt) and rice for dinner. Remember having bannana and rice when i was kid. First time I remember doing that as an adult. :)

Felt sleepy by 12. watching a malayalam movie, Cha-di-ka-tha Chandu. Funny romantic comedy. Romance is an integral part of any Indian movie. People are only allowed the fantasy of falling in love and then marrying. But in real life they marry and then fall in love.

Woke up with a clearer sense of Joy and happiness. Reaffirming to myself and feeling the sense of happiness with in me.
Automatically the corners of my lips stretched like they were hoping to touch my ears :)

Thou the temperatures seem to drop, today and tomorrow are forecast to be warmer days into the upper 31 deg C or upper 80 into 90 deg F.

Had break fast and did not care for the clock. So ended up at work around 7:20. well I should rather sacrifice 10 to 15 mins than forego breakfast, especially since I have been skipping dinner again.

Going thru mixed feelings about the trip to Madrid and soria. Would have loved to go with people I love. But sometimes things do not work as I would want them to. So I need to open my self up to making the trip alone and try to find the joy of traveling and experiencing a different culture on my own.

12:30 went to Taco bel with ajay. Liked the chicken burrito, much better than the McDonalds burgers.

Fixed and updated the .def for the defect and the enhancement on mocpop.
and then sent out mail

Had a very good night sleep and woke up thanking for another great beautiful day.

Have to start initiating the possible issues related to Moc-pop at work. With possible fix at the root that could be done by the other team or a patch (band-aid) fix at my end. :)

But before that need to talk to Aji about it.

Yesterdays cooking of the Chicken with the barest of the ingredients turned out to be great. wow. That is the tastiest chicken I got o taste in a very long time. Cooking in low heat over time is much more better than cooking in a steam cooker or on high heat, thou the latter helps with the chicken been cooked faster. Trick and technique learnt from Anils wife.

Got to get some Euros for the trip. the Euro value seems to be going up than down. Hope it goes down in the next few days.

back by 1:45 pm around 2 went to war room and met Karthi with the hope of testing MOC. Was not able to. So based on what Joe replied about the mocpop, have to put in my patch code.

Sep 20, Monday. Fever and Struggling with focus

Monday,, start of new week and day. Was a struggle getting up, as I feel that I did not have a week end at all. After the long ride to Allentown on Sat for the training.

Sunday was spent on scrubbing the washroom and vaccuming the house. Wanted to cook but.

anyways made it to work around 7:10am feeling feverish and coughing. Damm don't want to fall sick before the trip.

Around 10 went out with the guys for Coffee at Dunkin dougnuts. Thought I was feeling low cause of that. But even after coffee, feel low energy and a bit undercurrent of sickness.

Should stop commenting on evas blogs and even reading it. As she does not seem to interested in replying or acknowledging my comments or opinions. Have to harden my heart and feelings towards people who treat me like wise.

Just have to be more care ful with who I choose to let my sincere feeling for. And stop wasting my time and energy focusing on people their life, who have shown that they do not deserve any of it.

Pondering on the anonymous mail I got from someone name monica. saying that she lives close by and may want to talk over the phone and that she is interested in learning new languages and has an online language learning going on. First mail she said she was in italy for 15 years and the 2nd mail she said 12 years.

kind of have a fishy feeling about her intentions as she does not seem to reveal exactly where near lansdale she lives, just too vauge ???!! red flag.

Lunch was at Chipotle,, spicy and yummy mexican food.

Got back was still feeling under the weather. not able to focus or even try to do some online course.

Got out of work around 5 and headed home. tried to sleep but feeling restless. Tried to mediate but again not able to focus.!!??

Inventory of the things to do around home and in life. Missed out going to the temple for some free dinner and praying for Ganesha festival yesterday night. Went to sleep again with out dinner.

then get the sneakers and soak in the bath tub with the washing lquid.

Call up home. Surprisingly they did not seem that interested in talking at all today. So it was a very brief, doing well, ok, nothing more, ok talk latter, dad did not seem interested in talking at all. Not sure if that is a good or bad thing.

Okay,,,I finished reading the novel of John Grisham "Summons" by around 11. Then started working on the scrubbing the shoes and clean it up a bit.
Moved the cloths to the dryer and then put the shoes in the washer. ;)

Then back into the wash room to scrub up the bath tub and the wash basin and toilet bowl. ahhhh it took up the time.

Was going to re enter to cut my hair with the machine when the phone rang, ajay calling ahhhh not in a mood to get out of the house. ok lets see what he wants. He directly asks me when I am coming and people are waiting for me.... ahh damm totally forgot the birthday of mohans daughter, ahh told them to go on with the celebrations as I may take about an hour to reach. ok so rushed into shower, then to wall mart for a gift for a 5 year old gal. That was another nightmare, they seem to have run out of 5 year old girls gifts, Looks like all the guys brought it from the wal mart. So after a lot of searching, I ended up buying a more costly gift for a 6 year old. Better something than nothing.

Got into mohans house just in time before the Birthday cake was been cut.

The vegitarian food was good, he had it brought from New Jersey. Not like the typical food made in restaurants.

Then over ice creams the discussions got into ramayana and mahabharat and their origin. Was it a Myth or did it really happen. hmmmm it was nice and scary to see that there are people who seem to believe it and accept things blindly and not open to questions. And these are guys and gals who are supposed to be highly educated compared to the average indian.

People on one had seem to be not open to quesiton their own practices and faith but seem to take pleasure in poking holes in other peoples faith. And when I questioned kriss do have any idea about the other different faiths and mythological characters in other cultures, "no". Then how are you assuming that you are the best or the only one that has culture or all the things that you are claming.
First try to be open to exploring other peoples culture and practices, and then compare it with yours and then learn to question others.
If not whats the difference between you and those with the extremist views?

anyways a few theories came out , one was that Sri lanka was really Australia and that the reason why australia is still a huge desert was because of some weapon used by Rama during the war, that caused the destruction of all natural vegitation. ;) hmmmm far cry for me to accept that.

never the less an interesting conversation, a few sentiments hurt and shaken.

Reached home around 6. then got busy with getting the cloths out of the dryer and putting the shoe into the dryer.
Got an urge to cook the chicken. So headed out for Genaurdies for milk and ginger. Saw the missed call from mali. called her up from genaurdies while shopping. damm again no milk and no ginger. awww.

Spoke with mali for a few about her weekend end activities. Was surprised that she also learned to clean her wash room. Thou she used to have it done by paying others before. ahhh she must be having a hard time adjusting from the princess life she lead in india, having own cook, person to wash and persons to do every thing for her and her family. Well not a type of person I would like to be in a relationship with. Told her about my adventures on Monday at vango.
she wanted to come and check out. I hope she does not and impact my great monday nights, the times we went to brasils, some gal or the other asked me if she was my wife. ahhh a scary thought. no way.

Got back home and watched a bit of colts v/s giants game on internet.

And again passed out and went to sleep on the couch with out any dinner.
